Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Child Health Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our public health department, you will work to promote the health and well-being of pre-school children and their families.

About the Role

As a Child Health Advocate, you will be responsible for assessing health needs, developing and implementing health-enhancing activities, and generating information to inform policy decisions. You will work closely with the deputy senior nurse and senior nurse to develop innovative ways of working and ensure the delivery of excellent evidence-based child health surveillance and health promotion initiatives.

We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can demonstrate accountability for keeping up-to-date with mandatory training and implements current evidence-based practice pertinent to the role. You should have experience of multi-agency working, managing a Health Visitor caseload, and be able to work within defined policies, protocols, and guidelines.

The estimated salary for this role is £42,123-£58,198 per annum, depending on your level of experience. If you are a Registered Nurse or Midwife with a BSc in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visitor), we encourage you to apply.
