We are looking for an experienced mental health advocate to join our team at Recruit 3. As a self-employed advocate, you will work with vulnerable adults in the UK, providing support and guidance to help them navigate the complexities of mental health services.
Key Tasks and Objectives
• Deliver high-quality advocacy services to vulnerable adults, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other agencies to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with service users and submit reports as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
• A degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, nursing) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience of working with vulnerable adults or young people in a health or social care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Access to your own laptop and reliable internet connection.
