Facilities Management Director

Mears Facilities Management is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our Crawley office and multiple contracts focused on repairs and maintenance, as well as Hard FM. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Facilities Management, driving a professional team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership and mentorship to staff within the Branch team.
- Set targets and objectives that align with FM's strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all activities.
- Monitor and control Branch/Contract performance to ensure delivery of P&L is in line with or exceeding agreed budget levels.
- Implement and maintain robust governance, risk management processes, and adherence to delegated authorities.
- A sound understanding and previous experience of managing a P&L.
- A current H&S Qualification (e.g. IOSH / NEBOSH).
- Previous experience of leading a large team of skilled Trades, administrators, and/or technical colleagues to deliver compliance.
- Ability to commute daily or live within reasonable travelling distance to our Crawley Office and covering West Sussex.
