About the Role

Mears Facilities Management is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our Crawley office and multiple contracts focused on repairs and maintenance, Hard FM, and business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellence, managing teams remotely, and driving performance while developing staff to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a P&L, ensuring delivery of budget levels and driving cost-effective improvements.
  • Lead a large team of skilled trades, administrators, and technical colleagues to deliver compliance and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Monitor and control branch performance, reviewing and adjusting strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to business governance, risk management processes, and delegated authorities.
Requirements
  • A sound understanding and previous experience of managing a P&L.
  • A current H&S qualification (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH).
  • Previous experience of leading a large team to deliver compliance.
  • Ability to commute daily or live within reasonable traveling distance to our Crawley office.
