Dedicated Communication Support Specialist

Riviera Education Trust is seeking a highly motivated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support the communication and learning development of children in our schools.
This full-time position (30 hours per week) involves working under the guidance of our SEND Lead to deliver targeted speech and language interventions, supporting pupils across all three local primary schools.
As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, providing 1:1 support and working with small groups to help learners achieve their full potential.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and committed to collaborative working, with high expectations for themselves and the children they support. A sense of humour and positive attitude are essential for thriving in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering targeted speech and language interventions
- Providing 1:1 support and small group work
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality support
To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of working with primary-aged pupils, ideally in a school setting. Additional qualifications such as NVQs are desirable but not essential. You will also have GCSEs in English and Mathematics (minimum Grade C) or equivalent.
