Electrical Systems Engineer

At SEGULA Technologies, we're seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of aircraft electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and modify existing aircraft electrical systems to integrate hydrogen fuel cell powertrains
- Develop new electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS) designs and processes for novel systems such as high-voltage electrical systems and hydrogen fuel supply
- Integrate new cockpit systems, including human-machine interface (HMI), to monitor and control the integrated powertrain
- Design and develop using Siemens NX software and available tools: cockpit systems and installation, aircraft electrical systems and installation, aircraft modifications, and repairs
- Perform analysis and testing of cockpit & aircraft electrical systems and installations and components to verify compliance with specifications and requirements
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure quality and conformity
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-aircraft issues and problems using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Support and conduct safety assessments and analyses in line with ARP4754B and ARP4761
Requirements:
- Experience using Siemens NX Software
- Electro-mechanical systems integration experience
- Minimum 5 years systems engineering experience
- Applicable degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of aircraft design principles
- Ability to produce and check engineering drawings
Contract Details:
Initial 12-month contract - hourly paid outside IR35
