About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, and we're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in implementing and supporting electro-mechanical test systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical interfacing, PLC/HMI systems, and related controls to company standards.
  • Design and install electrical circuitry, including motor control and electrical actuation systems.
  • Work with initiative to develop and implement electrical interface systems within the Test facility.
  • Be the point of contact for electrical facility support and liaise with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Time served apprenticeship, HNC/HND or BEng degree, plus relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and electrical circuit design.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI programming, motor control, and electrical actuation systems.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic circuit functionality and servo hydraulic systems.
