Key Responsibilities
- Craft and implement lesson plans that accommodate the varying abilities and learning styles of SEN students.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, employing effective behaviour management techniques to support student engagement and learning.
- Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to develop and implement effective support plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest educational practices and SEN strategies, engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching efficacy.
Requirements
- Specialised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
- Proven experience as an SEN Teacher within an SEN-based educational setting. Additionally, experience in Behaviour Management is required.
- Understanding and compassionate approach to helping students in an inclusive learning environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
