About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SENCO to join our dedicated team as a part-time SEN Support Coordinator. This is a permanent contract, 0.2 FTE (1 day per week), offering an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate SEN provision across the school to ensure the best outcomes for children with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the well-being and progress of students.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor the progress of SEN students.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on SEN-related issues.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
Requirements
  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Experienced SENCO or practitioner passionate about making a difference in the lives of SEN students.
  • Excellent communicator, organized, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Empathetic and positive, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Flexible and team-oriented, with a great sense of humor.
