Machine Operator Job Description

Gap Personnel is recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing company in Paignton, Devon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Loading materials into a pre-programmed machine
  • Unloading finished materials from machines and storing into correct locations
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Working Hours & Pay Rate:
  • Monday to Friday, 0600am – 1400pm / 1400pm – 2200pm
  • Training for 6-12 weeks will involve working Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 Friday 07:30 - 12:00
  • £11.44ph
  • £17.16ph Overtime paid after 38.5hrs
