Special Events Lead Job Description

Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Special Events Lead to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for delivering and developing our flagship fundraising programme to outstanding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of our flagship fundraising programme, ensuring it meets required net income targets and objectives.
  • Lead and grow relationships with partners, suppliers, and supporters to maximise their impact and experience.
  • Provide specialist insight and knowledge from the art and culture sector to develop opportunities and deliver the programme to required standards.
  • Support the Business Development Manager with targeted new business approaches, including preparation of pitch documents and accompanying them to meetings.
  • Regularly use data and analysis to report KPIs and ensure the programme is on track to meet agreed targets and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in special events, philanthropy, corporate sponsorship, business development, particularly in the Art and Culture sector, with demonstrable project management experience.
  • Ability to work on a fast-paced, dynamic programme of activity without compromising on quality of delivery and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at senior levels, internally and externally.
  • People Development, leading teams, coaching, and mentoring others.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • Full-time, permanent contract.
  • Hybrid working with at least 1 day in the office.
