Counsellor – Trauma Recovery Specialist

**Estimated Salary:** £34,834 (FTE) per annum, equivalent to £11,146 Actual Salary

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Counsellor to join our team in providing high-quality counselling services to survivors and victims of domestic and sexual violence. The ideal candidate will have experience working with trauma-informed approaches and delivering integrative counselling.

The post-holder will work closely with the Lead Counsellor and the wider counselling team to develop and maintain a safe, professional, and accessible service. This includes managing a caseload of clients accessing short to medium term counselling, providing face-to-face, telephone, and online counselling sessions.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to maintain clear boundaries, and have strong team working ethos and team management skills. They will also be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management, both verbally and in writing.
