We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Grandir UK's Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Wellingborough. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to all staff members and maintaining the highest standards of care and education.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education, and will be committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. You will be responsible for promoting high standards of quality within the nursery, supporting and supervising playroom staff, and ensuring that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms.

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will also be responsible for providing professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child, and promoting the nursery to current parents and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
