About the Role

At Rubber Duck Cars, we are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our brand-new team in Corby. As an MET Technician, you will play a vital part in our bodyshop, ensuring that our customers receive the highest standard of service. The successful candidate will be a skilled and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about vehicular bodywork and repair.

Key Responsibilities

The MET Technician will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, ensuring that vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
  • Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify areas requiring repair.
  • Ordering replacement parts, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts, paying close attention to detail and quality.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have excellent planning and organizational skills, ensuring that vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Have a strong understanding of manufacturers' specifications and the ability to work accordingly.
  • Be a team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible in your approach, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Continually work to high standards, prioritizing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements
