About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Privacy Consultant to join our Data & Technology Team at Slalom. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of data governance and privacy.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. They will also have experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and developing risk mitigation strategies.

As a Data Governance and Privacy Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to assess their data management needs, identify areas for improvement, and develop practical solutions to enhance their data privacy and security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks to establish policies, procedures, and standards for effective data management.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats to data security and privacy, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on data privacy laws and regulations, and help clients navigate complex compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation to ensure effective data management and compliance.
