We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tribunal and Admissions Manager to join our team at Ascendancy Partnership Trust (APT). As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools' admissions processes and representing our interests in tribunal hearings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and attend tribunals for APT schools, working closely with Admissions Co-ordinators to ensure effective representation.
- Formulate legal responses to local authorities in response to consultations for placement at our schools.
- Advise and report on all EHCP-related matters, providing high-quality advice to colleagues, parents, and other agencies.
- Contribute to the overall effective operation of each of our schools, working closely with staff and stakeholders to achieve our mission.
- Extensive experience of working with SEND children and young people, with good knowledge of safeguarding legislation related to disabled children.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of legislation, statutory frameworks, and policy in relation to admissions and EHCPs.
- Ability to work from home, at our MAT central offices, and regularly on site at each of our APT schools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and other agencies.
