About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineer or Senior Highway Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the UK, delivering professional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver highway infrastructure projects, including cycleways and other transportation systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • UK experience in public, private, or third-sector client environments.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in highways and/or cycleways design.
  • Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets, and other local authority standards.
  • Relevant design software experience, such as CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of LTN 1/20.
  • Knowledge and experience of NEC Contracts.
