Senior Highway Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Highway Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highway infrastructure projects, including cycleways and other transportation systems.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including local authorities, consultancies, and construction companies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
- UK experience in a public, private, or third-sector UK-based client.
- Demonstratable skills and experience in highways and/or cycleways design.
- Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets, and other local authority standards.
- Relevant design software experience, such as CAD/Civil 3D/KeySign & KeyLines.
- A full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of LTN 1/20.
- Knowledge and experience of NEC Contracts.
