Lead Therapeutic Endoscopist

Join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust as a Lead Therapeutic Endoscopist. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership in therapeutic endoscopy and ensuring high standards of behaviour and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical standards, policies, and procedures to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure an appropriate skill mix of personnel able to provide specialist care.
  • Supervise junior colleagues and support them in enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of professional performance through CPD and clinical supervision.

Required Skills:
  • Interest and understanding of Endoscopy
  • Involvement in planning and supporting improvement and transformation
  • Experience of implementing local/specialist objectives
