Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is seeking a talented Reporting Analyst to join a high-performing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role is ideal for a proactive candidate with advanced Excel skills and experience handling large volumes of data. The successful candidate will be comfortable turning data into actionable insights and will have a strong sense of commercial awareness.

The business operates in a fast-paced and fun working environment, with a team of passionate and knowledgeable Finance Analysts and Business Partners. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, with a high attention to detail and a self-starter mentality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly reporting on inflation, requiring data accumulation and analysis.
  • Enhance and evolve supplier spend data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Implement new reporting requirements and assist in setting up new Tableau reporting where relevant.
  • Assist the Finance team with modelling and complex analysis of information for budgets and forecasts.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and understand their impact on business performance.
  • Prepare and send quarterly information to business shareholders.
Requirements:
  • Expert Excel skills, with Tableau experience an advantage.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
  • High attention to detail and self-starter mentality.
  • Proven track record in a similar analytical role handling large quantities of data.
  • Good understanding of KPIs and commercial levers.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to describe complex analysis in simple and effective language.
