Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Health Care Support Worker to join our dynamic community team in Aberystwyth & Tregaron area. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a willingness to develop in the HCSW role. The applicant should be willing to work flexibly within the team, under the supervision of the qualified nurses.

Main Duties of the Job

In return, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to deliver high-standard, cost-effective nursing care, under the supervision of the Team Leader or delegated representative. The applicant will ensure that patients receive safe, individualized, and effective standards of care by following care plans and treatment interventions as directed by the Team Leader. Although the applicant will act at all times as directed by the nurse in charge of the caseload, they should be competent to work without direct supervision, within a framework that has been agreed by the Team Leader. The applicant will communicate effectively at all times and in conjunction with other team members. They will act as a role model for Student Nurses. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
