About the Role
This exciting opportunity involves supporting Sarah, a dynamic individual living in the Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire, in her daily life. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance with personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities, while encouraging Sarah's independence and autonomy.

Main Responsibilities
• Assist with personal care, such as bathing and grooming
• Provide support with domestic tasks, including housework, shopping, cooking, and cleaning
• Encourage and support Sarah to make life choices and participate in social activities
• Foster a positive and respectful relationship with Sarah, promoting her dignity and well-being
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to SOL's policies and procedures

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
• A minimum of one year's experience as a Support Worker
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
• Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to SOL's policies and procedures

Flexible Working Arrangements
This role requires a flexible approach, with shifts from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, including alternate weekends. We also offer overtime opportunities during team holiday times.
