Business Development Representative

Ryft is a Manchester-based Fintech that simplifies complex payments for businesses across the UK and EU.
We operate in the exciting FinTech sector, where marketplaces have transformed online buying and selling. Our payment solutions facilitate new revenue streams and products for software companies.
Account Executive RoleThis role offers exposure to a fast-paced scale-up that continuously pushes boundaries. The business development team is essential to our success, and we're seeking motivated individuals to join us.
As an Account Executive, you'll build relationships with key stakeholders, pitch Ryft's benefits, and negotiate contracts. You'll find and approach suitable clients, manage them through the sales cycle, and work with the Commercial Manager to hit and exceed targets.
- You'll prospect from ICP leads, identify and qualify potential clients, and understand customer needs to propose solutions.
- Build relationships with decision makers, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- You'll communicate with and influence C-suite executives to use Ryft as their payment partner.
- Support the commercial team in executing sales initiatives and collaborate with non-commercial departments for a smooth client journey.
A comfortable approach to generating your own pipeline and autonomy over hitting sales targets are required. Cold calling is not necessary for this role.
