**Business Development Representative - Commercial Pumps**
Job Title: Business Development Representative - Commercial Pumps
Industry Sector: M&E Contractors, Building Services, HVAC, M&E Consultants, Local Authorities, Plumbing Contractors, Heating Contractors and Plumbers Merchants
Area to be covered: North & Scotland (North of Birmingham)
Remuneration: £29,000 - £34,000 + 1.5% bonus of all sales
Benefits: Fully Expensed Company Display Van & Full Benefits
The role of the Business Development Representative - Commercial Pumps will involve:
- Business Development Representative role selling manufactured range of commercial pumps
- Selling to merchants, distributors, contractors and end users within the residential sector
- Majority of your time will be spent developing relations with merchants and distributors such as Wolseley, UK Plumbing Supplies, Williams Trade Supplies and City Plumbing Supplies
- You will be spend at least 4 days a week on the road, with 1 day needed for all admin requirements such as arranging appointments
- Scotland and Belfast are included in the territory however it is rare you will be required to go there due to reps covering those areas
- Responsible for arranging and attending merchant trade mornings, setting up your van to display and promote products being the face of the business
- Other responsibilities include merchandising, finding/picking up sales opportunities and obtaining a complete product knowledge in order to deal with all customers requirements and queries
- Targeted to make circa 35 calls a month, this includes cold calls, appointments and trade mornings
- Taking over a territory currently turning over circa £1m
- Full training can be provided
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Representative - Commercial Pumps with:
- Our client is preferably looking for someone working within a merchant branch/trade counter looking to make a name for themselves and get into a sales rep role in the future
- Also open to people within a promotional or marketing role from any background
- Must be knowledgeable of and familiar with social media, such as Instagram and LinkedIn, to promote and advertise
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Confident, outgoing and enthusiastic
- Proactive, hungry and driven to succeed
- Full UK driving license
