Sales Lead Generator

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Lead Generator to join our dynamic team at Whistl. As a Sales Lead Generator, you will play a crucial role in shaping our sales pipeline by generating qualified leads and maintaining a clean and accurate customer database.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sales or business services, particularly in the postal, package, or direct marketing industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively search and qualify leads using available databases and inbound inquiries via the website and phone, and route them to the appropriate telesales/sales agent.
- Meet daily targets by generating the minimum number of qualified leads for the sales team, as set by the Line Manager.
- Maintain and update the CRM with relevant lead data, ensuring the database is current and accurate.
- Collaborate with the Telesales and Sales teams to ensure appointment records are accurate and updated promptly.
- Follow up on direct marketing activities and existing database records to maximise the number of pre-qualified leads.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify priority areas for the Telesales team and track the effectiveness of focused efforts.

Working Hours:
The working hours for this Sales Lead Generator role are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. Hybrid working opportunities are available following the initial probationary period.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an excellent phone manner.
- Good maths skills.
- Excellent data entry skills and a methodical approach to record-keeping.
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft standard packages, most notably Excel.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Embraces and thrives in a fast-paced and results-based environment with the ability to work with minimal supervision after agreeing objectives.
- Self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
- Confident in establishing and maintaining relationships with colleagues at all levels, able to build relationships with clients and acquire key information quickly and accurately from prospective customers.
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience as a Sales Lead Generator or in a similar role in a sales environment.
