The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our Starbucks team in Spennymoor, DL17 8RU. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the store when the Manager is not present, ensuring that the team operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance
  • Managing store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
  • Coordinating staff rotas and schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and presentation
  • Assisting with training and development of junior colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and store operations

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £12,250 per annum, based on a 16-hour contract.
