Job Title: Director of Sales

Our client, a well-established food and beverage business, is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead their team and drive sales strategies across their independent retail division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development within the retail network.
  • Provide training and support to retailers on product knowledge, merchandising, and sales techniques.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record working within FMCG and Convenience Retail industries.
  • Strong understanding of Convenience Retail, Grocery, and wholesale channels.
  • Proven experience in independent retail management, sales, or business development.
  • Strong multi-category knowledge with thorough understanding of the Wholesale sector and trading regulations.
  • Ability to travel and work away from home on a regular basis.
