About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments using psychometrics, interviews, and risk assessment tools to advise on treatment plans. This includes adopting appropriate therapeutic models based on individual needs, assessments, and case notes to deliver individual therapy to the young people. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of group work programs using evidence-based practice, overseeing and checking assessment reports completed by the therapy team, providing supervision for Assistant Psychologists, conducting research to evaluate the efficacy of treatment, and delivering/presenting training to both internal and external professionals.

The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral level qualification in Clinical or Forensic Psychology, possess clinical experience following qualification, be HCPC registered, and have experience supervising Assistant Psychologists and reviewing assessment reports.
