**About Us:

We are now seeking a talented Process Development Engineer to join our team in Great Yarmouth. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new processes for optoelectronic assemblies and hybrid microelectronics packaging.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science and a good understanding of manufacturing processes. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new processes for optoelectronic assemblies and hybrid microelectronics packaging.
  • Liaise with design and manufacturing departments as well as externally with customers on multi-channel optical communications.

Requirements:

  • PhD or MSc in Materials Science or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process development and implementation.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
  • A 9-day working fortnight.
  • Hybrid working.

  • Assistance with relocation costs up to £8,000.
