The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Computing Teacher to join our dedicated team at Outwood Academy Adwick. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computing lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a love for technology and problem-solving.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Deliver innovative and challenging Computing lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4, incorporating the OCR Computer Science specification.
  2. Contribute to the development of a broad and balanced curriculum that prepares students for success in Computing and related fields.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to drive achievement and raise standards in the department.
  4. SUPPORT initiatives to increase the uptake of Computing at KS4 and beyond.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, BEd) and relevant subject expertise.
  • Experience teaching Computing or a related subject at Key Stage 3 and 4.

  • An innovative approach to teaching, with a desire to shape the future of Computing education.
