About Our Role

Athelstan House is a purpose-built care home offering residential, nursing, dementia, respite, intermediate, and day care for up to 80 residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home.

You will be responsible for ensuring every room and living space is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times. This includes cleaning, laundry, and restocking supplies. You will also have access to specialized equipment and materials to support your work.

About You

You will be comfortable in an elderly care setting and have the ability to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner. If you have previous experience in a housekeeping role, that's great, but we will provide all the training you need to start your new career with us. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is good at communicating with people, enjoys working as part of a team, and is keen to learn and excel at their job every day.
