As an Assistant Site Manager at Next, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage site progress, order demand, resource, and cost to deliver the best service for customers in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible
* Liaise with operational managers, maintenance, and systems teams to ensure the site is operating to its full potential
* Lead by example, driving front-line managers to perform to the highest standards
* Support coaching and development needs of front-line managers to ensure they have the skills to motivate and manage their team members
* Work closely with the Senior Management Team and Trade Unions to identify and drive continuous improvements

Requirements

* Previous management experience in a similar role
* Extensive operational knowledge and experience in a fast-paced 24-hour operation
* Ability to make quick operational decisions and use initiative
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
