Warehouse Operative Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, receiving and processing inventory
* Conduct quality control checks on products
* Re-label and re-package products as needed
* Use handheld scanners to track inventory
* Pack items into boxes and bags for shipping

**Requirements:**

* Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for those without experience
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Excellent attention to detail

**Benefits:**

* Free onsite parking
* Modern, welcoming, and positive working environment

**Working Hours:**

* 12-hour days: 6am-6pm (0600-1800)
* 12-hour nights: 6pm-6am (1800-0600)

**Pay Rate:**

* Days: £11.86 per hour + overtime paid at x1.5 rate (£17.79 per hour)
* Nights: £14.23 per hour + overtime paid at x1.5 rate (£21.35 per hour)

**Shift Patterns:**

* Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday OR Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday (3 days one week, 4 days the next week)

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a brand new, clean, and modern warehouse environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
