Experienced SEN Teacher Required

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to support students in a SEND school setting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of special educational needs and be able to plan, lead, and teach classroom activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting a class of 5-7 students with varying levels of need
- Developing and delivering lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students
- Monitoring and recording progress both academically and against EHCP's (Education Health and Care Plans)
- Working closely with teaching assistants to ensure effective support for pupils
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
- Excellent knowledge of the primary or secondary curriculum
- Experience teaching in SEND settings
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and contribute to the wider school community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
