Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SEN teacher to provide daily cover in a range of SEN schools across North London. As a SEN teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require additional support and make a positive impact on their education.
Salary: £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN teacher to join our team of professionals providing daily cover in a range of SEN schools across North London. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting student engagement and contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering lessons to SEN students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
- Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- A CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- A legal right to work in the UK
