Senior Employment Attorney Role

LAW Absolute is seeking a skilled Senior Employment Attorney with 2+ years of PQE to join our team in Cambridgeshire.

The salary for this position is £46,500 (estimated based on the national average), and we offer a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Senior Employment Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on employment law matters.
  • Managing a diverse caseload of complex matters with minimal supervision.
  • Offering guidance and support to client Councils' Committees and Directorates.
  • Representing clients in court and tribunal proceedings.
  • Collaborating with Elected Members and Directorate teams to provide strategic support.
  • Mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently, think critically, and manage competing priorities.

You should also be willing to travel to other offices as needed.

A strong commitment to health and safety, equal opportunities, and diversity is essential.

Your ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be self-motivated is crucial.

Previous experience in employment law and local authorities is highly valued.

You should feel comfortable undertaking advocacy and supporting clients in various settings.
