Job Title: Clinical Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Site Manager to join our team at Basildon Mental Health Unit. As a key member of our senior on-call team, you will provide clinical oversight and assurance across the site, ensuring that services operate in a clinically effective and safe manner during overnight and weekend periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring high standards of quality care and patient safety.
  • Implement high standards of care delivery, ensuring services are needs-led, compliant with national guidance, and viewed positively by service users.
  • Identify and assess complex clinical and operational matters, ensuring the most appropriate action is taken.
  • Work closely with other members of the senior on-call team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Leadership experience at Band 6 in an inpatient setting.
  • High level of clinical expertise to provide professional advice and guidance on a broad range of clinical and operational issues.
  • Ability to identify and assess complex clinical and operational matters and ensure the most appropriate action is taken.
  • Extensive knowledge of wider care pathways, patient flows, and service access routes.
  • Detailed knowledge of The Mental Health Act 1983 as amended in 2007 and its associated policy requirements.
