About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our Site Services department at bet365. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of front and backend developers in the delivery of high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers in the delivery of high-quality software applications
  • Measure quality and delivery, contribute to and drive improvements
  • Ensure the team remains skilled, engaged, and empowered
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology stack, including Golang, Typescript, Kotlin, and Swift
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve processes
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and enforce governance of quality, rules, standards, and processes
  • Plan and track work actively, as prioritized by the product, project, and development management

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience with leading development teams in the delivery of high-quality software applications
  • Passionate about working with technology and software development processes and practices
  • Experience with Typescript, Golang, or other server-side technologies
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture
  • Exposure to multiple software development methodologies
  • Exposure to generative artificial intelligence and large language models
