Are you passionate about finance and public service? Do you want to make a real impact in your community? Our Finance Graduate Trainee Programme is the perfect opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Finance Graduate Trainee, you will gain practical experience across key areas of finance within a participating council. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge, and you will study for the prestigious CIPFA Professional Accountancy Qualification (CIPFA PAQ).
Our programme is designed to provide a direct route into local government and public service finance, preparing future leaders to tackle the challenges facing communities today. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, and build a network of contacts in the industry.
To be eligible for this programme, you must have a minimum 2.2 undergraduate degree, GCSE Maths and English (Level 4 or above), and the right to work in the UK for the duration of the four-year programme. You must also have lived in the UK for the last three years.
