A highly motivated and successful Life Sciences group at Oxford University Innovation (OUI) is seeking a Technology Transfer Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commercialising technologies developed from Life, Biomedical and Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford, with a focus on Digital Health and Med Tech.

The successful candidate will have a higher degree (or equivalent) in a relevant biomedical, life science, or information engineering discipline, or relevant commercial, technology transfer, or scientific experience in these fields. You will work closely with world-leading academics to drive translation of new medical and life science technologies, identifying and executing new commercial strategies for transferring technologies to industry.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Working with world-leading academics to drive translation of new medical and life science technologies.
  • Identifying and executing new commercial strategies for transferring technologies to industry.
  • IP and patent portfolio management.
  • Negotiating appropriate licensing and other commercial contracts, in conjunction with legal experts.
