Job Title: Teaching Assistant in EYFS Setting

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in the EYFS setting of a 'Good' Primary school in Preston. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS national curriculum
  • Assist with Phonics and other educational activities
  • Work with small groups and individuals to support their learning
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualified in childcare or education
  • Experience working in the EYFS setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum and Phonics
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and staff
