What you'll be working on:
In this role, you will use the latest technologies to deliver scalable, quality cloud and high-performance web applications to support the business in its Digital Strategy.
Your day-to-day
- Design, develop, and implement front-end interfaces using Angular and HTML.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code and develop and maintain server-side logic using .NET.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Delivery of application modules in line with the delivery profile and architecture laid down by the Head of Technology.
- Ensure coding is conducted to best practice guidelines to ensure a high-quality application suite is built and can be maintained.
- Contribute to discussions on our technology stack, processes, and systems architecture.
You should apply if you:
- Have demonstrable experience using .NET (C#) in a commercial environment.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- College certificate or honours degree in an IT or communications subject.
- Have rigorous attention to detail, are self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative.
- Can present technical information to a wider audience, communicate issues and status updates to management in a concise manner.
- You're passionate about supporting local communities and are eager to get involved in our initiatives.
Even better if you:
- Have a thorough understanding of Angular and its core principles.
- Have experience of creating and managing mobile applications in a commercial environment.
- Have knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms such as JSOM Web Tokens.
