Animal Health Specialist

Salary: This is a competitive salaried position, with an estimated annual salary ranging from £65,000 to £85,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities: Your primary duties will include examining and diagnosing animals, performing surgical procedures, prescribing medication, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also be expected to provide advice and guidance to animal owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and general care. In addition, you will contribute to the development of our practice by participating in continuing professional development (CPD) activities and sharing best practices with colleagues.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in veterinary medicine, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You should also be proficient in the use of modern equipment and technology, including ultrasound scanners, X-ray machines, and diagnostic imaging systems. A certification in veterinary surgery or a related field would be advantageous.
