Salary: £45,000 to £46,500 per annum + paid overtime + benefits and opportunities to progress
Hours: 2 weeks of Days (6am to 6pm) then 2 weeks of Nights (6pm to 6am), on a Panama shift pattern (working 7 out of every 14 days)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Fitter to join our team at one of our leading automated factories. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production machinery. You will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve equipment issues, and participate in planned shutdowns and project work to maintain and improve our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
- Assist with planned shutdowns and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
Requirements:
- Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
- Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
- Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.
