Pilgrims Europe is seeking an experienced Salary and Benefits Coordinator to join our centralised Payroll team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payrolls for our factory-based operatives across multiple sites in the UK, Ireland, and Great Britain.

Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate and timely processing of wage payments, which involves reviewing and processing all available wage data, including worked hours, additional payments, statutory payments, tax code changes, pension changes, and more. You will work closely with HR and Accounts departments to ensure seamless transfer of information.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining SOX compliance, which requires adherence to strict deadlines and high-quality reporting. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in a payroll environment, be thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurate and timely payment processing
  • Timely query resolution and ticket resolution
  • Adherence to deadlines
  • Quality of reports
  • SOX Audit compliance reports
  • Integrity of employee payroll records
