Job Description:

Aeropeople Limited is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Manager - Power Systems to join our team in Bristol or Barrow in Furness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the verification and validation of power systems through compatibility testing of equipment and power system analysis.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, flexible working hours, and relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility
  • Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and management of electrical engineering teams
  • Development and implementation of engineering solutions
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics

The estimated salary for this role is £57,500 per annum, dependent upon experience.
