Job Title: Quality and Technical Manager

At Dale Farm, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality and Technical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for driving forward best-in-class quality and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with relevant food safety and legal guidelines, certification standards, and customer codes of practice.
  • Ensure products meet quality parameters and due diligence checks, including specification criteria, labelling, weight and measures, temperature control, and food safety criteria.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications through retailer portals and Dale Farm internal platforms.
  • Lead site investigations and improvement plans for technical and quality KPIs.
  • Liaise with customer representatives and regulatory authorities, coordinating site visits and audits.
  • Promote and implement improvements aligned with the group technical strategy.
  • Identify, agree, and implement quality objectives for the site.
  • Develop staff training and mentoring programs for the technical function.
  • Develop and maintain an internal auditing system and site HACCP program.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience at a management level within a food quality and technical department.
  • Lead in customer and accreditation audits.
  • Proficient knowledge of QMS and HACCP monitoring plan development, implementation, and reviewing.
  • IT literacy.
