Job Title: Technical and Quality Manager

At Dale Farm, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical and Quality Manager to join our Ash Manor Site team. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for driving forward best-in-class quality and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality systems operate effectively to comply with all relevant food safety and legalisation guidelines, certification/accreditation standards, customer codes of practice, and group policies.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications through retailer portals and Dale Farm internal specification platforms.
  • Lead site investigation and improvement plans for technical and quality KPIs.
  • Liaise with customer representatives and regulatory authorities, coordinating and leading site visits and audits.
  • Promote and implement improvements aligned with the group technical strategy.
  • Develop and maintain an internal auditing system to satisfy changing customer requirements.
  • Implement trend analysis and statistical reporting to support quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience at a management level within a food quality and technical department.
  • Lead in customer and accreditation audits.
  • Proficient knowledge of QMS and HACCP monitoring plan development, implementation, and reviewing.
  • IT literacy.
