Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at NHS. As a key member of our Diagnostic Services, you will be responsible for providing an efficient Ultrasound service, working within established policies and processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality Ultrasound examinations and maintain the highest professional and technical standards.
  • To report to and support the Lead Sonographer/Senior Operations Manager with the running of the service.
  • To ensure an exemplary level of customer service is upheld to patients, consultants, and clinic team.
  • To perform a range of general and specialized examinations, promoting high professional and ethical standards of clinical practice.
Key Requirements
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered.
  • Current related professional knowledge and safe use of equipment relevant to the post.
  • Maintains a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Portfolio.
