About the Role

Sussex Police is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Community Support Officer to join our team. As a PCSO, you will play a vital role in keeping our communities safe and building relationships with local residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct highly visible foot patrols to deter crime and anti-social behavior
  • Provide reassurance and support to victims of crime and their families
  • Work closely with local communities, businesses, and organizations to identify and address local issues
  • Collaborate with police officers and other agencies to prevent and investigate crime
  • Develop and implement crime prevention strategies to reduce offending and re-offending
